I might be considered a petrolhead but I love the girly stuff too. Like the new eau de toilette Girl by Rochas for instance. A feel good fragrance with a ‘90% natural origin formula’. Perfumer Anne Flipo (IFF) created the floral-woody and citrusy composition with the key words as ‘minimalist’ and ‘cheerful’ in mind.
As Rochas wants to be as transparant as possible with us; it gives the three substances that make up the Girl fragrance:
– a perfume concentrate based with natural-origin ingredients
– 99.9% natural beetroot alcohol
– 100% natural pure water
By combining these three components, Rochas was able to achieve such a high percentage of naturally derived ingredients.
The floral woody citrus fragrance contains in the top notes blackcurrant, pinkpepper and flourishing neroli extract which I lovelovelove and which has relaxing properties.
The fragrance’s irresistible, radiant heart reveals the full feminity of a Sambac Jasmine bouquet, orchid and orangeblossom. Traceable and responsibly sourced, its 100% natural quality gives a scent as faithful as possible to the flower in its raw form.
In the base notes, sandalwood, vanilla and cedarwood finish the fragrance with a textured trail. The minimalist and cheerful eau will revive the girl in you no matter what age you are!
The eau de toilette is housed in a 40% PCR glass bottle and topped with a cap made from partly recycled plastic.
