A game à la Gaultier

Perfume is a game. A game of seduction and, above all, a way to put yourself in the spotlight… To give extra force to the impression you want to create. Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier goes one step further: the new men’s fragrance showcases a game à la Gaultier!

Text Anja Van Der Borght

To provide the right blend for the seduction game, the perfume house enlisted no less than three renowned French perfumers: Quentin Bisch, Natalie Gracia-Cetto and Christophe Raynaud. Together, they represent more than one gender and were thus able to further understand the important elements within. The result is an addictive perfume with first the scent of mandarin to which geranium delivers an initial uppercut. Then brown caramel that makes your mouth water and, to crown it all, the irresistible restlessness of tonka bean with its elegant aromatic fullness of cinnamon and warm vanilla. A new intensity for men is born… for all men… from the charmer and player to the rigorous sportsman to the man everyone wants to be. But who is that?

Parker Van Noord, the Dutch boxer who has represented Gaultier for a while now.

Charming
One thing is for sure, he is not shy or does not want to be shy and loves to be liked! Scandal, with its unabashed flair and charismatic fragrances, makes sure you are noticed and liked! Just like Parker Van Noord, the Dutch boxer who has represented Gaultier for a while now, and who embodies the fragrance in every detail. The man whose intriguing beauty keeps just about everyone – including you – glued to the mat. His velvety muscles are made for love. You want to touch this beautiful young god just as the packaging in ruby red velvet invites you to do so. Packaging that radiates love for the person you are gifting the new Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum to.

Pure indulgence
The engraved crown, the sign of victory. And the word ‘SCANDAL’ triumphantly, in golden letters announcing the show of the century. The cap of the bottle screams victory, it is a crown that stands for the only sovereign thing in the world: desire. The desire to pamper your partner or your father for Father’s Day. One thing is certain: it certainly won’t be a scandal.
