From a young age, Nathalie Klockaerts was captivated by fashion. After facing a life-altering diagnosis and an even more intense treatment journey, she now sees a promising future ahead. “Now more than ever, I believe in the power of wearing a power suit,” says Nathalie, founder of Skón Suits, with conviction and enthusiasm.
From dream to determination
Just as she was preparing to launch her own fashion journey, Nathalie was diagnosed with leukemia. Everything came to a halt—dreams and ambitions suddenly seemed distant. Yet the idea of starting her own label never truly left her mind. “Even during chemotherapy, fashion remained a source of comfort. It was during that period that Skón Suits really started to take shape. I had made a promise to myself: if I make it through this, I’ll chase my dream and create my own fashion brand.” After completing her treatment, Nathalie dedicated two years to shaping every detail of her brand—from selecting high-quality fabrics to partnering with the best suppliers. Skón Suits stands for premium quality and timeless basics—but also for empowerment, strength, and boldness.

The future is oversized
The decision to design oversized suits is a personal one. “You’ll find me shopping in the men’s section,” she laughs. “I’d been searching for the perfect oversized suit for years, but I always felt like it could be even more exaggerated. The beauty of the Skón Suits fit is that it works for both men and women. I call them genderless!” Nathalie adds with excitement.
