As twilight blankets Beef Island, the smallest inhabited island among the British Virgin Islands, we catch a majestic glimpse of Club Med 2 from the jetty. Even without its sails unfurled and before we step foot on the beacher to embark, there is already a sense of romance in the air. It feels like a voyage detached from the chaos of civilization, offering a glimpse into the bygone era while indulging in the luxuries of today.

Approaching the ship, we are humbled by its grandeur. The lifeboats, towering above us like colossal vessels, accentuate the sheer magnitude of Club Med 2. Although it may appear diminutive compared to large cruise liners, this yacht is far more substantial than the photographs had conveyed. With its seven snow-white sails, 2,700 square meters of teak promenade decks, mahogany railings, and 184 elegantly simple staterooms, all with breathtaking sea views, Club Med 2 unveils its best features with pride.
