As Spring unfolds, VILA unveils its High Summer 26 collection, a celebration of stillness, light, and the art of slowing down. The collection takes its cue from the Italian philosophy of il dolce far niente, the sweetness of doing nothing, reinterpreted through a Belgian lens by content creator and style curator Loredana Falone, the long-time partner of actor Matteo Simoni.
For the campaign, Loredana has selected her favorite pieces from the collection, embodying a mood of quiet luxury and relaxed refinement. With Italian roots and a natural eye for pared-back elegance, she channels sunlit days, breezy afternoons, and the serene pleasure of simply being.
Shot on location in Puglia, the campaign radiates timeless coastal allure. Hues of sun-warmed yellow, soft pastels, and sea-washed neutrals evoke the gentle rhythm of Mediterranean summers. Flowing silhouettes, airy co-ords, and subtly structured tailoring move with ease, each piece designed to accompany long lunches and slow sunsets. Prints play homage to the Adriatic: abstract coral forms, sculptural shells, and wave-like lines infuse the pieces with an organic sophistication. Whether it’s a tonal ensemble in linen or an openwork cotton set, the collection mirrors the tranquillity and tactility of seaside life, a wardrobe designed to breathe.
Loredana’s edit distills her signature aesthetic: effortless, sensual, and instinctive. Hallo Loredana nee we hebben ons nog nooit ontmoet, en omdat ik op het internet naar een adres zocht, en maar niet kon vinden , zal het nog wel even duren voor ik
in die mooie ogen van je kan kijken. Maar daar heb jij natuurlijk geen behoefte aan als ik vertel dat ik nu 83 zomers bijna achter me heb.
Loredana ik wild3e je mijn gedichtenbundel TIJD sturen , in de hoop dat je hem in het mooie Italiaans zou willen vertalen.
Ik ben geen beroepsschrijver en zit ook niet bij een uitgeverij.
De enige weg die ik met TIJD wil gaan is naar het Braille om laten zetten en dat ikn elk land van Europa in hun eigen taal.
