Le Tanneur celebrates French craftsmanship with “L’Art du Savoir,” a new collaboration with designer Pia Chevalier blending leather and ceramics into unique, collectible pieces.
Since the beginning of the year, Le Tanneur has been actively committed to promoting and preserving national artistic heritage, particularly through a series of collaborations called “L’art du savoir.” This series is dedicated to the transmission of knowledge and the art of working with materials. Today, the master leather craftsman unveils three creations that blend leather and ceramics—straddling the line between everyday objects and art pieces—created in collaboration with Parisian designer and artist Pia Chevalier. From her studio just outside the capital, Pia Chevalier develops an experimental approach to working with ceramics, a material that, when combined with leather, becomes a powerful catalyst for creativity.

The result is three unique pieces that will be showcased during Paris Design Week and will be available for purchase on the website and in select boutiques. Through this collaboration—centered on expertise and exceptional materials—Le Tanneur highlights its dedication to the concept of “transmission” within French craftsmanship.
