Tiffany & Co. – Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder

Tiffany & Co. unveils Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder, an extraordinary high jewelry collection celebrating the enchantment, movement, and mystery of the oceans. Designed by Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer of Jewelry and High Jewelry, the collection takes us on a surreal journey from the figurative to the abstract, inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s legendary aquatic designs.

Each chapter of Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder explores a unique underwater world, evoking everything from vibrant flora and elusive creatures to the dramatic motion of the waves. The House’s legacy of inventive design and master craftsmanship permeates each piece, blending intricate artistry with natural inspiration to create a collection that is both deeply moving and breathtakingly beautiful.

Ocean Flora Chapter

The collection begins with the lush world of ocean plants, captured in refined designs reminiscent of an underwater garden. Standout pieces from the Ocean Flora chapter include a necklace adorned with stunning Zambian emeralds, celebrated for their deep green hues, appearing to float above a garden of diamonds.

The Seahorse Chapter

Inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s iconic 1968 brooches, the collection reimagines these creatures with a contemporary twist. Veined moonstones and a delicate arrangement of colored gemstones, including zircon and sapphires, provide texture and contrast, bringing these mythical beings to life with both elegance and complexity.

The Sea Turtle Chapter

The Sea Turtle designs are characterized by diamond-rich patterns and refined gold detailing. The shell’s geometry is beautifully elevated by Tiffany’s artisans, who engrave each piece with the utmost precision. A highlight is the Sea Turtle pendant, featuring a hidden mechanism allowing it to transform from a pendant into a brooch, reflecting the turtle’s journey from land to sea.

The Starfish Chapter

The Starfish chapter deconstructs and reinterprets the graceful marine creature into high jewelry with celestial accents. Through unique cutting techniques, each piece offers sculptural complexity, featuring Mozambican rubies and diamonds enhanced by 18k yellow gold, rose-cut diamonds, and pavé-set diamonds.

The Urchin Chapter

The Urchin chapter draws inspiration from the intricate forms of the sea urchin, amplified by Jean Schlumberger’s visionary approach. Paillonné enamel, a 19th-century technique revitalized by Schlumberger, adds a delicate, spiky texture to the designs while capturing the iridescent essence of the sea.

The Wave Chapter

Finally, the Wave chapter celebrates the ocean’s dramatic movement with powerful, sculptural designs. The breathtaking Wave necklace evokes the grandeur of a breaking wave, featuring diamonds highlighted by vivid blue cuprian elbaite tourmalines totaling over 17 carats. The design draws inspiration from the voluminous forms and dynamic motion of Schlumberger’s famous Leaves Necklace. As Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder reinterprets the hidden marvels of the ocean, the collection reminds us that the world’s greatest treasures are often found in the most undiscovered and unexplored places. This collection stands as a tribute to Tiffany & Co.’s commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and a profound reverence for the infinite mysteries of nature.
