Inspired by the honey from the beehives atop the Parisian palace, Pastry Chef Anne Coruble creates an exceptional Tea Time in homage to the imperial bee, emblem of Chaumet’s Bee collection. Until the end of August, the majestic Lobby of the Palace will host a refined and delicious experience: a bespoke Tea Time inspired by the iconic codes of Maison Chaumet.
This exclusive collaboration celebrates the relaunch of Chaumet’s original Bee collection — an ode to nature and the beekeeping world, rooted in The Peninsula Paris itself, which maintains hives on its rooftops.
As the first jeweller established on Place Vendôme in 1812, Chaumet continues to make history with its delicate, timeless creations — blending tradition and innovation, much like The Peninsula Paris. 12 Vendôme, Chaumet’s emblematic address, is a place where heritage meets craftsmanship and creativity.

This subtle dialogue between haute pâtisserie and haute joaillerie reflects both nature and artisan passion. The traditional tiered stand is reimagined to resemble golden honeycomb cells and blooming flowers.
This sweet journey pays tribute to the fascinating world of bees through delicately bold creations. Hints of honey, pollen, and golden tones evoke the treasures of the hive while enhancing the tasting moment.
Highlights include:
- Écume Yaourt with creamy milk jam and fresh pollen
- Fleur de Propolis, combining avocado honey and beeswax
- Alvéole Nacrée, a tangy honey biscuit with contrasting textures
- Muscovado Brioche, filled with raw cream and buckwheat honey
- Citrus Tart, enhanced by a honey ice granita

Savoury canapés elevate the experience further:
- Crispy poultry with foie gras and vin jaune gel
- White asparagus tartlet with citrus
- Provençal Barbajuan with peppered cream
Through this exceptional Tea Time, the spirit of Chaumet’s Bee collection infuses every detail — immersing guests in a refined and poetic experience. The Peninsula Paris is adorned with delicate florals and honeybee motifs in a refined Chaumet-designed setting.
Chef Anne Coruble successfully blends the pastry excellence of The Peninsula with Chaumet’s timeless elegance, offering a uniquely enchanting experience.
