Jaeger-LeCoultre presents the fourth capsule in The Collectibles series. This new selection of 10 rare and desirable watches, created by the Manufacture from the 1920s to the 1970s — during the golden age of 20th-century watchmaking — pays tribute to the revolutionary Duoplan movement on its centenary.
The Collectibles program is designed for collectors seeking to acquire one of La Grande Maison’s most emblematic creations, as well as for enthusiasts eager to deepen their knowledge of a key period in watchmaking history. All watches offered as part of this program are among the 17 essential pieces featured in The Collectibles book and produced by the Manufacture between the 1920s and 1970s. The book highlights revolutionary innovations such as the Duoplan, Reverso, Memovox, Futurematic, and Geophysic.

Revolutionizing women’s watchmaking for 100 years
The 10 watches in this fourth capsule collection all feature a Duoplan movement. Invented and patented in 1925, it enabled unprecedented miniaturization, disproving the notion that reducing component size always compromises robustness and reliability. This year, the collection shines a light on Jaeger-LeCoultre’s rich heritage in women’s watchmaking, combining technical sophistication and miniaturization with new aesthetics and ways to wear time.
The selected pieces range from diamond-set Art Deco cocktail watches to avant-garde creations from the 1940s and 50s. Notable examples include a yellow gold Duoplan Tubogas secret watch (c.1950) with bold geometry, a Duoplan Chaine (c.1941) on a broad gold link bracelet, and a 1960 High Jewellery secret watch set with diamonds and sapphires, fitted with the Calibre 101—the smallest in the Duoplan family.

A rare version of the Duoplan Tuile, named for its convex glass reminiscent of Mediterranean roof tiles, is also featured. This 1939 creation has a rectangular case and a dial oriented perpendicular to the wrist. The collection also includes a 1930s steel Duoplan Driver, designed for drivers to read the time without taking their hands off the wheel.

Authentication and restoration to the highest standards
Each piece in The Collectibles series has been carefully selected by Jaeger-LeCoultre’s heritage experts, then fully restored and serviced by their specialist restoration team. Every watch comes with an extract from the Jaeger-LeCoultre archives, a copy of The Collectibles book, and a new leather strap matching its style, unless it features an integrated metal bracelet. When possible, the original box, documents, and bracelet are included.
The fourth capsule collection will be exhibited at the Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique, 7 Place Vendôme (Paris, 1st arrondissement), from June 13 to July 27, 2025. Watches are available for purchase by appointment in the boutique and throughout the exhibition period in Paris.
