As Bart Canini explains, “It’s a beautiful place, you really should visit it. It’s just a few hundred meters from here. It’s a restaurant with a beach. There are 250 little villas operated by standard bikes. And the nice thing is that it’s an open park, so everybody can come.”

“And even in the winter, because you would say in the winter of course the beach is not attracting any people, we created a beautiful lake house. Every evening with live music and with a barbecue, we make sure that also in the wintertime people are coming,” Canini adds.

Terland is not just an asset for Terhills Resort but also a source of pride for Limburg.
“It’s very successful with Terland. We do more than 10 million euros. It’s quite a lot. And also we are very proud because Center Parcs, they operate the houses, they do a lot of analysis for guest satisfaction. And in Europe we are number one by far. So very proud that we are on hospitality. We can contribute to tourism in that way,” says Bart Canini.
