On December 13, the Dutch cosmetic retailer Skins will open a new boutique in one of Antwerp’s most prestigious shopping streets. This new location marks the brand’s twenty-first store and its second in Belgium, continuing Skins’ expansion in providing luxury beauty and niche cosmetic products.
Founded in 2000 by Philip Hillege, Skins pioneered the luxury cosmetics market in The Netherlands, introducing exclusive premium and niche brands. Over the past 24 years, Skins has grown into a curated collection of around 150 niche brands, spanning 21 boutiques and an online e-boutique. Following the successful launch in Ghent, Skins is now expanding to Antwerp, a city known for its rich fashion and lifestyle heritage. The new boutique, located on Schuttershofstraat, is surrounded by top international brands and promises a unique shopping experience.
After the success of the Skins boutique in Ghent, we had been searching for the perfect location in Antwerp for quite some time. Schuttershofstraat was our top choice, especially as it’s becoming car-free and redesigned as a beautiful pedestrian shopping area. The building has a fantastic ambiance that fits Skins perfectly. We look forward to an exciting time in Antwerp and hope to introduce many locals to the world of Skins.
– Philip Hillege, Skins co-founder
The new boutique will offer an extensive collection of exclusive cosmetics, including perfumes, skincare, and home and lifestyle products. Beauty enthusiasts can explore unique boutique brands such as Creed, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Byredo, and Westman Atelier. A team of expert Skins Advisors will be on hand to provide personalized advice.
Skins invites everyone to visit the new boutique at Schuttershofstraat 17 in Antwerp starting December 13. To celebrate the opening, special activities will be held on December 14 for shoppers and invited guests.
