From the painting to the collection, from the collection to the painting: a flow of reciprocal influences that becomes a creative process, from which a visual work and the spring-summer pre-collection arise in symbiosis.
A process that stems from the collaboration with the young German artist Isabel Bernat, sharing abstract concepts and patches of colour inspired by the tones of nature. An expression of unexpressed feelings, of a liberated spirituality, of unplanned planning, of that unusual, imperfect element that becomes perfect when integrated. Similitude of a woman’s wardrobe, mirroring the personality of those who assemble it, in a subtle balance between light-heartedness and pragmatism. For a conscious and modern woman, who today prefers functional and ‘sincere’ garments to impulse buying, essential pieces that match well, that integrate, to compose coherent looks. A sort of formal informality that answers the following question:
What am I going to wear to a special event, without having to buy a garment that will not be suitable for any other occasion in my life?
Here, the key to understanding the Semicouture proposal is, quite simply. A collection that comes to life in textures enhanced by light and materiality, in a play of shiny-matt contrasts, which places cool wool alongside rasetto, smooth poplin alongside the new armoured tweeds, light Milano stitch alongside printed and embroidered viscose, cotton gabardine alongside patchwork knitwear. To printed and embroidered viscoses, cotton gabardines to patchwork knitwear. In the time span, the succession from wool doubles to the unprecedented check weave canvas on a linen base, takes us from winter to summer, ready for another exciting adventure.
