Hop aboard an electric city vehicle and enjoy an immersive guided tour blending art, storytelling, and gastronomy, with inspiring stops along the way. The highlight? A visit to the captivating exhibition “Panamarenko’s Zoo by the Sea” at the Scharpoord Cultural Center.
This exhibition, the first to focus on animals in Panamarenko’s work, brings together sculptures, drawings, photographs, videos, souvenirs, and other rare pieces, all exploring his love for animals. It also includes his complete series of multiples (1966–2019), a true collector’s delight.
The exhibition is centered around his iconic permanent installation “Waving Crabs – Dancing Ensemble with Whirlpool and Fountain”, delighting visitors daily since 2011 by the Zegemeer in Knokke.
