The prestigious Omega Masters golf tournament was celebrated in grand style this August with a spectacular gala evening in L’Arnouva. As part of the festivities, Academy Award-winning actor and Omega ambassador Eddie Redmayne was welcomed as the special guest of honor.

“During these past 10 years with Omega, I’ve witnessed so many incredible parts of the brand, whether it’s the Olympic Games or the precision on display at their factory. I’ve learned there are always more surprises to uncover.” Eddie Redmayne.
Far above the world-famous golfing greens of Crans-Montana, guests were transported via cable car to L’Arnouva, a mountain retreat beloved by skiers and hikers. With breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps, the exclusive celebration marked Omega’s 24th year as title sponsor of the Omega Masters. Stepping onto the stage, Eddie Redmayne brought Hollywood glamour to the evening. Known for his award-winning roles in The Theory of Everything, Les Misérables, The Danish Girl, and the Fantastic Beasts series, Redmayne has been a proud Omega ambassador since 2015. For the event, the actor wore the sophisticated Omega Seamaster Railmaster in stainless steel (Ref. 235.10.38.20.06.001), perfectly reflecting his refined personal style. Off-screen, Redmayne is admired for his timeless elegance, making him an ideal representative of Omega’s luxury watch collections.

“Being here in the mountains, celebrating one of our favourite Swiss sporting events, there really is no better way to experience our Omega home. I’m delighted to welcome everyone here this evening, and especially Eddie, who is getting to experience another unique passion of our brand.” Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of Omega.

Golfing Legends Join the Celebration
The evening also welcomed a distinguished group of Omega’s golfing ambassadors, including Kim Métraux, Wyndham Clark, Rasmus and Nicolai Hojgaard, Danny Willett, Miguel Angel Jiménez, Erik Van Rooyen, Frank Kennedy, and Guido Migliozzi.
The Omega Masters: A Historic Tournament
Taking place at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club until August 31st, the Omega Masters is one of the most iconic tournaments in professional golf. First played in 1923 as the Swiss Open, the event has been held at the same Alpine venue since 1939, making it the oldest golf tournament in Europe continuously played on the same course. Since acquiring naming rights in 2001, Omega has elevated the tournament into a highlight of both the sporting and luxury calendar.
