MB&F unveils the 2025 Limited Edition with the HM8 Mark 2 Purple. Limited to 33 pieces and featuring vibrant purple body panels, it is reminiscent of the opulent finishes seen on the world’s most exotic supercars.
The MB&F HM8 Mark 2 Purple shimmers with unique brilliance thanks to metallic pigments of mineral origin, similar to those found in high-end automotive paints. These pigments are blended into translucent resin through a precise, proprietary process — carefully controlled for timing, temperature, speed, and duration — to achieve both aesthetic depth and technical excellence.
MB&F’s connection to automotive design is rooted in the childhood dreams of founder Maximilian Büsser, who once aspired to design cars. While his path led to watchmaking, that passion lives on in several MB&F Machines. The HM5 paid homage to legendary 1970s supercars; the HMX, created for the brand’s 10th anniversary, continued the tradition; and the first generation HM8 ‘Can-Am’ celebrated the power of the Canadian-American Racing Championship. The HM8 Mark 2 is the culmination of this legacy, combining HM5’s sculptural car-body styling, HMX’s compact form, and HM8’s exposed mechanics. Encased in a streamlined trio of CarbonMacrolon©, grade 5 titanium, and highly complex sapphire crystal, the HM8 Mark 2 is a true supercar for the wrist.
These Machines are not just inspired by automotive design—they are true drivers’ watches. Their lateral time displays allow you to read the time at a glance without lifting your hands from the wheel. Like its predecessors, the HM8 Mark 2 Purple is powered by an automatic movement featuring a unique blend of mechanical and optical engineering: time is displayed via horizontal hour and minute discs, optically magnified and projected vertically through precision-cut sapphire crystal prisms.
The new HM8 Mark 2 Purple is priced at €74,000 + taxes.
