From 2nd of April 2025 onwards, Leica presents “A Moment in Time”, a unique photography exhibition at the Leica Store Geneva. In collaboration with renowned photographer and watch collector Kristian Haagen, the exhibition showcases Leica Watches through the lens of storytelling, precision, and minimalist design.
This April, the Leica Store in Geneva sets the stage for a remarkable exhibition that’s not to be missed by lovers of both photography and fine watchmaking. “A Moment in Time” is a collaborative project between Leica Camera, Ernst Leitz Werkstätten, and internationally renowned watch collector and Leica photographer Kristian Haagen.

What happens when you bring precision, storytelling, and design together in one space? That’s exactly what makes this exhibition so special. Featuring imagery primarily captured at Leica’s iconic headquarters in Wetzlar, Germany, Haagen offers a creative perspective on Leica’s timepieces — all photographed using the new Leica SL3 camera.
“This year, we are delighted to collaborate with Mr. Kristian Haagen, a long- time user of Leica cameras, to emphasise the profound connection between these two universes, highlighting Leica Watches’ technical excellence and unique design.” – Dr. Andreas Kaufmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Leica Camera AG.

But this exhibition is more than just a visual experience; it’s a tribute to craftsmanship. Every image tells a story of time, technique, and the shared design language between two worlds: high-end photography and fine watchmaking.
The exhibition opens on April 2nd with an exclusive preview event, co-hosted by Haagen and Dr. Andreas Kaufmann of Leica. Guests will get a first look at the latest watch models and gain insight into the creative process behind the photography. On April 3rd, the public is invited to join a hands-on masterclass in watch photography — a rare opportunity to learn the art of capturing time from a true expert. Hope to see you there!
