This summer, two iconic Belgian brands – Ioan and Place Reservee – have joined forces to create the ultimate summer essential set. With the launch of Ioan’s brand-new SPF line, this limited-edition collab with Place Reservee combines innovative skincare with stylish beach essentials.
The set includes IOAN’s Sun Wear 50, a mineral sunscreen with powerful antioxidans and advanced ingredients to keep the skin protected, healthy and radiant. It also blends out quickly without white cast, corrects imperfections and leaves the skin even and hydrated. It comes with the Mykonos beach towerl from Place Reservee: a generously sized beach towerl with a soft velvet front, produced in Portugal according to high quality standards.
Sun Wear 50 and Sun Set 50
With this collab, Ioan does not only introduce the new Ioan Sun Wear 50, but also the Ioan Sun Set 50. This sunscreen spray does not only protect your skin from the sun, but also fixes your makeup. It is suitable for reapplication and doesn’t mess up your makeup or clothes.
“You think that you’re not wearing anything, but you actually are. It also doesn’t make your hair greasy and works on top of your makeup, as it also functions as a setting spray. So it can be applied in the morning, and then you just take it with you in your bag. Then, when you’re sitting on a terrace for example, you can reapply it every two hours, even on top of your makeup.” – Jani Kazaltzis, co-founder of Ioan
Kazaltzis explains that the new SPF products won’t be the only new releases for the brand:
“A sun jelly is also coming out (next week). It’s meant for when you want to work out, but also for when you’re wearing something white and you don’t want the product to stain your clothes. We also have our sleep masks, they will be released in two weeks. What makes them special is that they’re infused with silver ions, which have antibacterial properties. It also works really well if you’re wearing skincare at night — a cotton pillowcase tends to absorb your skincare, but this keeps it nicely on your skin. We have three colors. Finally, we are launching pillowcases. These are made from the same material as the sleeping masks, so with silver ions, but they are made out of a thicker silk. That also helps while you sleep — sometimes you still have makeup residue or dead skin cells — and the pillowcase will work antibacterial.” – Jani Kazaltzis, co-founder of Ioan
Collaboration with Place Reservee
Kazaltzis also explains why the collaboration with Place Reservee made so much sense to them:
