First Brussels Bar Show 2025 On March 30 and 31

On March 30 and 31, 2025, the iconic Silo Brussels will host the very first edition of the Brussels Bar Show. This exciting new event brings together the best of the Belgian and international bar world: from top-tier bartenders and trendsetting brands to industry leaders and cocktail enthusiasts.

More than just a trade fair, Brussels Bar Show is a vibrant platform where professionals and the public connect, share knowledge, and shape the future of hospitality. Expect live cocktail demos, inspiring talks, and hands-on seminars in a setting designed to spark creativity and collaboration.

A Gathering of Industry Talent

This first edition is led by three incredible ambassadors: Ran Van Ongevalle (Bar Ran, Bruges), Yen Pham (Yi Chan & Dragon, Brussels), and Valentin Norberg (Botanical by Alfonse, Namur). Representing the three regions of Belgium, they’ll be serving up signature drinks and hosting exclusive masterclasses.

They’ll be joined by other leading names from the bar world including Hannah Van Ongevalle, David Lebeer, Jesse Den Dulk, and Julie Nullens – making this a must-attend for anyone serious about cocktails.

What to Expect

The program is packed with main stage conferences, seminars, and trend sessions covering everything from advanced mixology techniques to brand-building strategies. Topics include Belgian brands on the global market, sustainable mixology, pre-batched and ready-to-drink cocktails, and alcohol-free innovation – with guest experts including the sommelier of three-star Michelin restaurant Zilte.

A Venue with Character

Silo Brussels, a former brewery and malthouse along the Willebroek canal, offers the perfect blend of industrial charm and modern design. With over 1800 m² of exhibition space, 16 event zones, and a 750 m² rooftop terrace, it sets the scene for two unforgettable days of tastings, talks, and networking.

Meet the Minds Behind the Show

The Brussels Bar Show was created by Hannes Desmedt, a respected Belgian sommelier and bartender, and Alice Bown, event and wine communication specialist and Wine Lady of the Year 2020. Their mission: to unite and showcase Belgium’s bartender community, and give it a spotlight on the global stage.

“If Berlin, Brooklyn, and Amsterdam have their own bar shows,” says Alice, “then Brussels deserves one too.”
