Ferrari has taken home the top prize at the 2025 Red Dot Awards with three models. The Ferrari 12Cilindri and 12Cilindri Spider — berlinettas featuring the iconic front-mounted naturally aspirated V12 — won the Red Dot: Best of the Best award in the Product Design category. The same accolade was awarded to the F80, Ferrari’s latest hybrid supercar, powered by a V6 derived from the engine that secured legendary victories at Le Mans in 2023 and 2024.
The Red Dot Award is one of the world’s most prestigious honors for industrial design, celebrating innovation and excellence. The 71st edition’s ceremony will take place on July 8, 2025, in Essen, Germany.
Over the past eleven years, Ferrari has collected 32 Red Dot Awards — an unmatched record in the automotive industry. Since 2015, the jury has granted Ferrari no fewer than 13 Red Dot: Best of the Best titles.
These awards highlight the outstanding work of the Ferrari Styling Centre, led by Flavio Manzoni, which continues to create innovative vehicles that embody the Ferrari legacy and balance form with function.
Ferrari 12Cilindri & 12Cilindri Spider
Inspired by Ferrari’s legendary Grand Tourers from the 1950s and 1960s, the 12Cilindri and 12Cilindri Spider combine elegance, versatility, and performance. Their design features harmonious lines, integrated active aerodynamics, a rear-hinged hood, and classic elements like the signature dual exhausts. The Spider’s acclaimed retractable hardtop transforms the car for open-air driving in just 14 seconds, even at speeds up to 45 km/h.

F80
The F80 is Maranello’s sixth supercar, with a carbon fiber chassis and a 1,200 hp hybrid powertrain — 900 hp from the 499P-derived V6, and 300 hp from an 800-volt hybrid system with e-4WD and MGU-K. Formula 1 technology brings e-turbos for instant power and no turbo lag. The F80 delivers 1,050 kg of downforce at 250 km/h, with an active rear wing and advanced 3D-printed suspension arms. The Boost Optimization system provides extra power for faster lap times. The asymmetrical ‘1+’ cockpit focuses on driver comfort, and the F80 is limited to 799 units, produced until Ferrari’s 80th anniversary in 2027.
