At the core of the Ferrari 296 Speciale and 296 Speciale A is a cutting-edge plug-in hybrid powertrain featuring a 120° V6 twin-turbo engine paired with a rear-mounted electric motor. Combined, they unleash a staggering 880 cv – 50 cv more than the standard 296 GTB and GTS – making these the most powerful rear-wheel-drive Ferraris ever built.
Enhanced by Formula 1-derived engine technology, including titanium connecting rods, a lighter crankshaft, and race-spec camshaft control, the internal combustion engine alone produces 700 cv. The electric motor contributes 180 cv in a new Extra Boost mode, optimizing acceleration and delivering seamless performance through an enhanced eight-speed DCT gearbox.
