Collett & Victor Unveiled Mona and Nora at Paris Déco Off

At Paris Déco Off, held from 14 to 17 January 2026, the Belgian furniture house Collett & Victor presented a refined selection of new designs by Jessy Van Durme. At the heart of the launch are thoughtful expansions of two established collections, Ida and Tilda, alongside the debut of two new compact objects: the Mona side table and the Nora stool. Together, the new pieces form a cohesive statement defined by material honesty, tactile comfort, and the brand’s long-standing commitment to craft.

Ida: Readable structure, elevated comfort

The Ida collection is rooted in a construction that remains intentionally legible. Solid timber supports shape the silhouette; brass crossbars bring structure and ease; and nubuck leather is left visible on both sides, allowing its character to fully register. These signatures don’t merely decorate the design, they are the design. Building on the original Ida dining chair, the collection now evolves into two new typologies: an Ida bar stool and an Ida lounge chair. Both carry the same material language and clarity of form, yet introduce new proportions and a different posture, designed for lingering, at counter height or at rest.

The dining chair formed the basis, but it was self-evident to further develop the design. The bar stool and lounge chair follow the same logic of clarity and openness. Every component remains visible; every material is given room to speak.

TILDA: A new armchair with the same playful soul

Collett & Victor also introduces the TILDA armchair, an elegant addition to the beloved TILDA dining chair. The new armchair preserves TILDA’s soft curves and playful energy, while subtly raising the comfort level through gracefully integrated armrests.
An upholstered seat is paired with solid walnut, also available in oak, creating a warm, inviting presence. Rounded details and an easy silhouette make the TILDA armchair a natural anchor for dining spaces that value character as much as comfort.

MONA and NORA: Compact objects with a strong presence

Completing the presentation are two smaller-scale designs that focus on expressive form and meticulous finishing. The MONA side table and NORA stool both highlight burr veneer, using gentle curves to amplify the wood’s natural patterning, ensuring that each piece reads as distinct and one-of-a-kind.
Despite their compact dimensions, both objects feel intentional and architectural, elevated by refined detailing and leatherwork finished with visible saddle stitching. On the MONA side table, leather subtly wraps the rim of the tabletop, which is also executed in burr veneer. On the NORA stool, equally suited as extra seating or a functional accent, the leather emphasizes the upper section of the wooden volume. In both pieces, tactile contrast and craftsmanship define the final impression.

Paris Déco Off: A full gallery takeover

The IDA chairs, the expanded TILDA line, and the new MONA and NORA pieces will be shown together for the first time during Paris Déco Off, where Collett & Victor will take over Galerie Hamid Khellafi. Over four days, the space transforms into a distinctly Belgian universe of contemporary design and artisanal making, featuring additional new designs alongside signature pieces from the brand.

Made in Belgium, by hand

Entirely crafted in Belgium, the collection reflects the artisanal identity Collett & Victor has cultivated since 1982. In the brand’s ateliers, woodworking, metalwork, and leather finishing converge in a process where each chair is built by hand, an approach that’s felt in the precision of the joinery, the quality of the materials, and the quiet permanence of the final objects.
