The summer edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, number 108 (Florence, Fortezza da Basso, June 17–20, 2025), will shine a spotlight on the most cutting-edge creative research from the international scene. Another highlight in the event program: featured in Florence as Special Event will be Children of the Discordance, the brand founded by Japanese designer Hideaki Shikama.
Runway Show-Event at Stazione Leopolda
On the evening of Tuesday, June 17, at the Stazione Leopolda, Children of the Discordance will stage a runway show-event for Pitti Uomo and its global community, in collaboration with Japan Fashion Week Organization.
Showcasing at Futuro Maschile
Additionally, the brand’s collection will also be showcased at the Fortezza da Basso within Futuro Maschile, the section dedicated to the new elegance of contemporary menswear.

“Children of the Discordance is one of the brands we’ve been following most closely for several seasons,” said Francesca Tacconi, Special Events Coordinator at Pitti Immagine. “Ever since its debut at Pitti Uomo a few years ago, introduced through the Tokyo Fashion Award. We appreciate the independent thinking of its founder, Hideaki Shikama, and the calm confidence with which he blends archival references and the fast pace of street culture, all with a forward-looking design vision. This June, Children of the Discordance’s special event will bring to Florence a unique fusion of metropolitan rhythms and fashion culture, a contemporary narrative aimed at diverse global communities.”
