Ceramic Brussels is thrilled to announce that Spain will be the Country of Honour for its third edition, taking place from 21 to 25 January 2026 at the Tour & Taxis site in Brussels.
In collaboration with the Spanish Embassy in Belgium, and as part of Europalia España 2025–26, this special focus will further strengthen cultural ties between Spain and Belgium, while celebrating the richness, diversity, and vibrancy of the contemporary Spanish ceramic scene.
This highlight forms part of the dynamic programming of Europalia España 2025–26, a biennial arts festival that celebrates a selected country through multidisciplinary events across Brussels and Belgium.

Spanish Gallery Participation
In partnership with the Spanish Embassy in Belgium, Ceramic Brussels will select proposals from a curated list of Spanish galleries to join the international lineup. This process ensures high artistic quality and diverse programming, showcasing the regional variety and multiple approaches in contemporary Spanish ceramics. Participating galleries will highlight both established and emerging talents, offering visitors a deep insight into the current ceramic landscape in Spain.

Conference Series
Spain will actively participate in the 2026 Ceramic Brussels conference programme, hosting a half-day of talks featuring artists, curators, gallerists, and researchers from Spain. These presentations will place Spanish ceramic practices in a broader artistic and cultural context. The full conference programme will be announced in October.
