After an extensive renovation, Cartier just reopened the doors of its beautifully transformed boutique in the heart of Brussels. The reimagined boutique reflects Cartier’s commitment to artistry and craftsmanship and offers a luxurious and immersive shopping experience.
Cartier And Belgium
Cartier made its royal debut in Belgium in 1912 with the commission of two tiaras by Queen Elisabeth. In 1919, King Albert I, after purchasing three brooches with the royal insignia, officially welcomed “Messieurs Cartier” into the exclusive circle of suppliers to the King and Queen of the Belgians. Like the garland-style tiara worn as a headband by the Queen, the history between Belgium and Cartier is marked by a shared sense of freedom and modernity.
The Garden Of Artistic Crafts
Nature is the matrix, the common thread running through this boutique. It embodies nature and all the emotions it can evoke. Our intention was to create a metaphorical ecosystem where nature takes center stage and unfolds in every scene set within the boutique.

An Extraordinary Garden
54 Boulevard de WaterlooThe renovation of 54 Boulevard de Waterloo, entrusted to French interior architects Virginie Friedmann and Delphine Versace, can be seen as a return to multiple sources. It draws from the elements that have shaped Cartier’s style over time, particularly fauna and botanical motifs, as well as the distinctive spirit and architectural heritage of the Brussels location, giving the space its unique atmosphere. Lastly, it returns to the source of creativity: nature.
A Timeless Stroll
Upon entering, you discover a boutique that, after two years of reflection, has been completely transformed, inviting you to take a stroll through a timeless yet distinctly modern garden. This new universe was developed around an abundance of natural light, brought in through the winter garden, creating an inviting and gentle atmosphere.
