The international program Bold by Veuve Clicquot announced the opening of applications for the fourth Belgian edition of the Bold Woman Award and the Bold Future Award. The Bold Woman Award and the Bold Future Award are prestigious recognitions that, since 1972 in 27 countries, celebrate female boldness and leadership and pay tribute to the pioneering spirit of women who, like Madame Clicquot, reinvent traditions and inspire the next generation.
Two Awards, Two Stages of the Entrepreneurial Journey
The Bold Woman Award
The Bold Woman Award honors an experienced female entrepreneur for her entire journey, the success of her business, and her ability to inspire. In Belgium, this prize has been awarded to Marion Schoutteten, founder of the sustainable fashion brand Orta.
The Bold Future Award
The Bold Future Award distinguishes an emerging female entrepreneur who founded or took over a company less than 5 years ago. The last laureate, Amandine de Pape, is founder of Insentials, a digital start-up specializing in personalized nutrition plans for women.
A New Era: Apply via the Bold Open Data Base
For this edition, applications will for the first time be submitted via the Bold Open Data Base, the first global, open and free database dedicated to all female entrepreneurs. Launched in 2022 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Bold program and developed with scientist Aurélie Jean, this platform aims to break down cultural and geographical barriers to visibility through technology. A unique platform to increase the visibility of female entrepreneurs, because visibility can change a trajectory.
