Bang & Olufsen presents the Atelier Limited Edition Art Deco, a luxurious sound system that blends 1920s-inspired design with cutting-edge audio performance. Celebrating the brand’s 100-year legacy, this exclusive release reinterprets iconic products through the elegance and geometry of the art deco era.
Today, Bang & Olufsen unveils the Atelier Limited Edition Art Deco, a striking new sound system that reimagines the iconic Beolab 28 speakers and Beovision Theatre through the lens of art deco, the defining aesthetic of the 1920s and the era in which Bang & Olufsen was founded.
“This edition is a tribute to our origins and our journey,” says Kristian Teär, CEO of Bang & Olufsen. “It is a fusion of design heritage and technical mastery, created to celebrate 100 years of innovation in a timeless form.”

Timeless craftsmanship
Echoing the sculptural elegance and refined details that made art deco a lasting icon, the Atelier Limited Edition Art Deco honors a century of design excellence and acoustic craftsmanship. It draws on art deco’s bold geometry, rich materiality, and exquisite detailing. Limited to just 100 units worldwide, this release represents a rare convergence of performance and artistry.
Architectural inspiration
Crafted from dark rosewood and anodized in chestnut brown aluminum, the system features alternating lamella panels of tapered wood and straight aluminum, evoking the rhythmic facades of classic art deco architecture. A matching rosewood cabinet, handcrafted at Bang & Olufsen’s headquarters in Struer, houses an engraved Beoremote, finished in chestnut aluminum as a mark of authenticity. The aluminum surfaces bear a precisely etched geometric pattern, blending modern engineering with classical ornamentation. Hidden within the design, 100 engraved lines subtly reference each year of Bang & Olufsen’s legacy.

Elegant functionality
This attention to detail and tactility continues with the newly introduced wooden top cover of the Beosound Theatre, sculpted in a radial pattern inspired by sunburst motifs from the art deco era. Not only visually striking, this cover also enhances acoustic transparency, exemplifying Bang & Olufsen’s commitment to harmonizing form and function. The floating acoustic lens of the Beolab 28, encircled by a finely detailed radial ring, anchors the system as a sculptural centerpiece.
