For more than a century, Audemars Piguet has relied on a close-knit ecosystem of artisans, workshops and specialists in the Vallée de Joux, each dedicated to a single component or craft. With the new Arc Manufacture, these technical disciplines are reunited in one address, preserving the spirit of collaboration while giving every métier room to evolve. Designed by Geneva-based de Giuli & Portier and built by Alpenda SA, the 23,700 m² site has been conceived around flexibility and the Industry 4.0 principles, so that spaces, flows and tools can adapt as watchmaking itself advances.

Flooded with natural light, the Manufacture can welcome up to 700 employees in an environment that balances openness with intimacy. Transparent partitions, generous meeting spaces and shared areas foster dialogue and creative exchange, while quiet zones and private offices offer the calm needed for the most delicate operations. An electrochromic glass façade subtly adjusts to light and heat, maintaining comfort without sacrificing the ever-present views of the valley that inspires the Maison.
Anchored in its birthplace yet resolutely turned toward tomorrow, the Arc is designed to support Audemars Piguet’s growth in both capacity and complexity. Optimized workflows and intelligent, automated solutions free artisans from repetitive tasks, allowing them to focus on work that demands precision, dexterity and true expertise. In doing so, the Manufacture safeguards the watchmaking know-how of the Vallée de Joux, while contributing to the region’s economic and cultural life; a contemporary instrument for progress that remains deeply rooted in its origins.
