The shape of Anamon mirrors life beneath the waves. Its form unfolds from the inside out, reminiscent of the graceful opening of a sea anemone—an image that first inspired Van Puyvelde ten years ago during an underwater dive. The result is pure biomimicry, where nature’s brilliance sparks human innovation. Its name is a nod to the Greek prefix “An” (against) and the Egyptian sun god “Amon”—honoring both the sea creature and the sun-shielding function.
