Poilvache est le plus vaste ensemble fortifié du Moyen-Âge conservé de la vallée de la Meuse. Situé à moins de 5 kilomètres de Dinant, le site de Poilvache occupe un éperon calcaire dominant le fleuve et le charmant village de Houx.
